I bet most of your trips to the library don't end mine did. How did it end you might be asking me? Well, allow me to explain this whole crazy mess I got myself into. It all began this morning, with me, Ryan, waking up to a not so sunny sky. Rather, a heavy overcast loomed over my house at 7:00am. Now I know what you're thinking: Why would anybody want to get up this early? Well, I'll tell you! I woke up this early so I could go to a book sighing down at the local library. I was a total book nerd, completely into the fantasy genre. Dragons, elves, kings and queens you name it.

It was Christmas Eve.
This was the time of the year in which many children across the globe look forward to. As he walked as the Zoo grounds, watching both human families and Animal families enjoy being happy together, he began to reflect on his own life.

His own safety was on the line as he slowly began to make his way towards the light. The freezing wind blasted into Desmond's face, making it a difficult struggle to even keep himself standing.
"Must.... keep.... going!" Desmond said, his near frozen lips hardly opening.
Desmond could feel the energy and life practically being sucked out of him. The harsh condition of the ice storm was just simply too much. As determined and as eager as he was to find out what the light was, Desmond simply couldn't push on. The cabin was miles away from his location, and the brutal Antarctic storm would make getting there nearly impossible. Falling onto his knees, Desmond was beginning to lose hope that he'd ever make it to safety.
"Desmond... this is not your time to vanish from thi
